For over 30 years, Douglas Schneider has had a flourishing career and is fortunate to have many happy, recurring clients. For five years he did over 70 packaging illustrations for St. Ive’s products and over 50 packaging illustrations for Suave Naturals and Seasonal products. Frito-Lay has used his illustrations on their packaging for Ruffles Potato Chips, Rold Gold Pretzels, Tostitos Salsa, Grandma’s Cookies, Chester’s Fries, and Doritos Toppers. Some of his other loyal and long-term clients have been HEB Groceries, Continental Mills, Johanna Foods, Rodale Garden Publishing, Koala Echo, and Williams Sonoma.
Doug also had many smaller projects. This presentation includes small projects for spirits and alcohol beverages from around the world.
Wenneker Distilleries was established in 1693. Over the years, Wenneker has built up a reputation for the excellent quality of its products, and now sell in more than 50 countries worldwide.
In 2022, Thunder & Bold, based in The Netherlands, chose Doug's illustrations for Wenneker's new branding of their Elderflower Dry Gin and their Rosemary & Fig Dry Gin.
The New York office of Stranger & Stranger, the prestigious packaging design and branding company for wines, beers, spirits, and other alcoholic beverages, hired Douglas Schneider to paint the illustration for Three Olives Vodka - Strawberry.

UK design studio, New Model Creative, chose a mango and passion fruit illustration from Douglas Schneider. It was used for packaging on Tuborg Hard Seltzer Mango & Passion, by Norwegian brewer, Rignes.
Charleston, South Carolina distiller, Dixie Vodka, launched their line of vodkas in 2014. In 2023 they chose Douglas Schneider's illustrations to grace four of their newly branded labels: Pepper, Wildflower Honey, Citrus, and Peach flavored vodkas.
Higgins Design is a branding and packaging design studio which devotes 100% of its energy to beverage and beer brands. It is located in the craft beer scene of Hamburg, Germany's Sternschanze district. They chose three lemon illustrations from Douglas Schneider for Warsteiner Radner's redesigned beer packaging, recently released in spring 2019.
In 2022, Affinity Creative Group, of San Francisco, Cincinnati, and New York, asked Douglas Schneider to paint new illustrations for their client, Oliver Winery. The illustrations were used for Oliver Winery's best-selling collection of fresh, fruit-forward Moscato wines. The four newly branded wines are Melon Mint Moscato, Lemon Moscato, Blueberry Moscato, and Cherry Moscato.
Quaker City Mercantile, from Philadelphia, PA, is a unique force in the drinks industry. As well as creating world-famous spirit, beer and wine-based libations, they also build and grow product lines for select partners worldwide.
In 2018 they asked Douglas Schneider to paint three fruit illustrations for Miller-Coors' new sparking Italian-Style spritz, Bella Amari.
The Wooddell Design Company chose illustrations by Douglas Schneider for Dulce Vida's Lime and Watermelon Margaritas, as well as Paloma premixed cocktail packaging. The Austin, TX based distillery, Dulce Vida, has earned accolades as the most decorated and recognized craft tequila - lending claim as The Most Awarded Tequila.
